Usage & Billing

Usage

On Vectrix, usage is determined by the total number of scans that you've run. There are two types of scans modes on Vectrix, on-demand scans and monitoring scans.

  • On-demand scans each use one (1) scan out of your balance.

  • Monitoring scans each use four (4) scans per day out of your balance.

For Vectrix Community users, your scan balance will reset back to 10 scans every 7 days, starting on your account's initial creation.

Examples

On-demand

  • You run the Amazon S3 scan on-demand. This uses one (1) scan.

  • You run the Amazon S3, AWS IAM, and Amazon EC2 scans on-demand. This uses three (3) scans.

Monitoring

  • You run the Amazon S3 scan in Monitoring mode. This uses four (4) scans per day.

  • You run the Amazon S3, AWS IAM, and Amazon EC2 scans in Monitoring mode. This uses 12 scans per day (four each per day).

Billing

You can view, manage, and modify billing details (including payment methods) on the Billing page. Note: you must be an Admin to view this page.

  • For Vectrix Community & Pro plans, payment can be made via credit or debit card.

  • For Vectrix Enterprise plans, we also support invoicing and payment via ACH.

Your payment method is charged at the end of the billing period.

  • The billing period for Vectrix Community is seven (7) days

    • Not applicable if no paid usage during the period.

  • The billing period for Vectrix Pro is one (1) month.

  • Billing periods for Vectrix Enterprise can be set at either one (1) month or one (1) year.
